Die Choreografin Silke Z., die Medienkünstler Micha Thies, Tobias Grewenig und Ralf Baecker und die beiden Tänzer Antonio Cabrita und Manuel Silva begeben sich gemeinsam auf die Spurensuche nach der emotionalen Energie…

Energie strömt durch uns durch, geladen oder entladen, fließt oder blockiert. Energie ist nie neutral. In einer Wechselwirkung von Auf- und Entladung, Anziehung und Abstoßung entfaltet sich das Tanzduett, vernetzt mit interaktiven Live – Projektionen.

emotional ENERGY

an interdisciplinary dance performance

In this emotionally powerful and visually striking production, award-winning German choreographer Silke Z. and media artists Micha Thies, Tobias Grewenig and Ralf Baecker and the two dancers Antonio Cabrita and Manuel Silva explore how we create and exchange ‘emotional energy’, when we meet and share space with others.

Two male dancers sense each other’s presence. Initially distant, they gradually build up to a powerful exchange of athletic movement. We sense their connection, but do not always see it. As their movements are recorded by sensors and projected back into the performance space, we become immersed in the same digital environment.
