André Zimmermann – sound and film design

Seit 1998 Komposition und Sounddesign für Theaterproduktionen u.a. für Silke Z., Sven Lange, Kim Epifano, Ilona Pasthy. Seit Beendigung seiner Ausbildung 2003 bei der Ton-Postproduktionsfirma Torus GmbH zahlreiche Vertonungen für Serien, Spiel und Kinofilme wie  Lauras Stern, Grounding, Tatort, Wilsberg  u.vm.  2003 wurde er für den Golden Reel Award für das Atmosphären Design des Films "Whale Rider" in Los Angeles nominiert. Seit 2004 Regietätigkeiten und Arbeit an seinem ersten virtuellem Kurzfilm "2 Rooms" in Zusammenarbeit mit Jan Hanten. Seit 2006 Postgraduierten Studium an der Kunsthochschule für Medien in Köln im Bereich Film/Fernsehen, das er im Frühjahr 2011 mit seinem Mittellang Film "Luther(AT)", sowie seiner Diplomarbeit zu innovativer Seriendramaturgie abschließt. In dieser Zeit auch tätig als Regisseur und Autor für "Private Spaces" von Silke Z. sowie als Dramaturg bei ihren Stücken Machtmut und Blackout.

Since 1998 composition and sound-design for theater-productions, besides others for Silke Z., Sven Lange, Kim Epifano, Ilona Pasthy. Since he finished his education at the sound and post-production company „Torus GmbH" in 2003, he set the music for several TV-series and motion pictures, such as „Lauras Stern", „Grounding", „Tatort" or „Wilsberg". In 2003 he was nominated for the Golden Reel Award for the atmospheric design of the movie „Whale Rider". Since 2004 he created and directed his first virtual short-movie „2 Rooms" in cooperation with Jan Hanten. Since 2006 he studies at the University of Arts in cologne in the department movie/TV. He will graduate in 2011 with his movie „Luther (AT)" and his paper on innovative series-dramatization. During his studies he also worked as director and author for „Private Spaces" from Silke Z. and functioned as a dramatic adviser in her pieces „Machtmut" and „Blackout".
